During the last year some new higher institutes were established, new programmes and some changes of programme requirements were introduced by HEI, the number of choices of programmes was increased to 30, and some new features in the electronic system were made. Because of these changes, as well as, the commitments of the HEAC to introduce a more comprehensive clear and simple student guide book a new edition was introduced for 2007/2008 academic year.

The New Edition contains:

1. A comprehensive explanation of admission system;

• By reading the guide book, students will get a better understanding of the procedures required for application process, information about programmes offered and how to choose programmes according to preference, as well as, some technical aspect of the system.
  

2. Study Programmes are divided into two categories:

• a. Programmes fully funded by Government Institutes plus Internal Scholarships which are exclusive for welfare and low income students to study in private institutes.
• b. Programmes for students who are willing to study on their own expenses in private higher institutes.
